On presence, memory and transformation

My work begins from a continuous investigation into presence and its traces.

Through drawing, sculpture, installation and performance, I explore the relationship between body, memory, space and transformation. I am interested in what remains when something is no longer physically present: a gesture, a shadow, a memory, a fragment of a place.

Light, matter and space become instruments through which I investigate these invisible dimensions.

My works often develop in dialogue with the place in which they exist. Rather than simply occupying a space, I seek to transform its perception and create a temporary relationship between the work, the body and the surrounding environment.

This research also leads me towards collaborations with architecture, interiors and other spaces in which contemporary art can become part of the experience of a place.
