Sara Dell’Onze was born in Italy in Padua on August 1975.
She studied, Art and architecture of interiors in Ferrara and Fine Art at the Academy of Art in Bologna where she completed her dissertation in 2000. She currently lives in London where she has studied an M.A in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College. She has a diploma in Graphic Printmaking from the London College of Communication.

She has used her body as her primary material. Her concern with creating works that ritualizes the simple actions like sitting, dreaming and thinking as the manifestation of a unique mental state.

Sara has been exploring the physical and mental limits of her being in performance as a visual art form in exhibitions or videos. Her practice uses printmaking as a process of thinking through ideas and imagination.
